Emil's early life is shrouded in mystery...

It is known that he was born in a Balkan country into an old and respected family of nailmakers and hod repairmen. During Emil's early childhood, the family began to fall upon hard times after Emil's father, Gerd, fought and lost a long and expensive legal battle over ownership of the patent on a process for printing nutritional information onto the rinds of cheese wheels. This experience left the young Emil embittered and deeply distrustful of the legal system and the cheese industry.

As a child, Emil had little interest in the paranormal. Then, one fateful day, his father's brother, Egmar, appeared and moved in with the family. His uncle introduced the lad to the strange powers of the Supernatural. Emil remembers:

"I soon came to realize that Uncle Egmar had the power to translocate solid objects, to wit: coins. He could place a coin in his pocket and then cause the coin to travel through quantum psychic space from his pocket to my left ear, from which he would pull the coin, give it to me and tell me to go to the store and get him a box of snuff. If I failed to do so quickly enough, he also had the power to disconnect my nose from my face and put that into his pocket as well."

From this beginning, Emil Klott grew into a man and took on his life's work: The investigation and documentation of paranormal phenomena. Now he stands alone in the field as the researcher who has found and verified more incidents of a supernatural nature than anybody you ever heard of. He travels much of the year conducting experiments and investigations; he reports on these researches in popular multimedia lecture presentations.

And yet, he still can't get on the Tonight Show.
